Please report any potential water leaks ASAP by calling 254-896-6501 or 254-424-6658. One undetected leak can quickly impact our water supply and empty the storage tanks,  keeping the well pumps running non-stop, so it's crucial to get these leaks addressed as soon as possible.

The Riesel City Council

At a regular public council meeting on 2/15/2022, The Riesel City Council voted unanimously to release the following public statement: Recently, the City Council of the City of Riesel gave New Alternative Green Energy, Inc. and the Makers Group the opportunity to make a presentation to the Council. In retrospect a concern exists that giving these companies that opportunity may have lent credibility to their purported projects or mistakenly indicated the City’s support for their purported projects. To ensure that no ambiguity exists the City Council wishes it to be known that the Council does not endorse these companies or their purported projects and does not intend to provide support in any form to the companies or their purported projects. Citizens are encouraged to do research and exercise due diligence before investing in any company, including these companies.
